The 2nd part of the project had begun making the movie! I used Adobe Premier to edit my short movie together and I used a currently misbehaving camera to take the shots for this movie.
I went through the process of taking multiple shots to find the best angels or simply re-taking shots because I had a better idea of how it should look during the final version. Most of these shots were taken during the night to get the final shot where everything was pitch black. Sometimes my time management was really bad and I kept procrastinating so some shots were taken during the morning when in fact the movie is supposed to portrait the character arriving home at night.
I also had to find fitting music for this film. During the beginning I added calm music which fits well with the character waking up and feeling tired. Later on I used happier music to show how the character feels: excited, thinking, getting on with a task.
I also had to remove bits and pieces from the sound section because my camera made awful noises which can be heard throughout the short movie. These sounds made it harder to make this movie but I decided it won't stop me. Another problem I had to face was deciding whether I wanted to use Auto Focus which would make my shots blurry but create less noise or use manual focus to get the perfect shot but risk having a lot of noise in the final product.
The filming only took a couple days and the rest of my time I spent editing the movie or re-taking minor shots which were taken at the wrong time or shots that were blurry and needed to be fixed to be visually appealing.
I finished this project by thinking of a title and adding it as a title card at the end of my short movie.
I made the title card by cutting it to create the illusion of the title flickering out.
