Sound Recreation

There are 2 challenges when I will be making my film: 1. Being able to get the right weather to film and then be able to edit my videos 2. Replicating sounds and making them align with what is seen on screen. My camera makes some strange mechanical sounds which interfere with the natural sounds caught by the camera. This makes it unbearable to then listen to the video which gets published afterwards. What can I do? I will be using a separate device such as my phone to record sounds separately without the interference of the mechanical camera sounds. This means I need to spend more time working on the film but It will be worth it for the final product.
