Topic Research

The song touches upon dreams and nightmares which led me to do some research about those two topics: Dreams and Nightmares. My idea is to use the definitions of the topics and use them to shape the music video.

For example nightmares are induced by stress and anxiety which gave me the idea to introduce scenes where the MC (Main Character) displays facial expressions or actions that portray the two emotions.

The video underneath explained what happens when a human doesn't sleep for long periods of time. One of the points I took from this video is when the subject was experiencing hallucinations. I took the fact and turned it into a key idea where the MC will experience hallucinations of nightmarish creatures (like spiders).

The poster had useful information about how the brain works when you deprive it of sleep. The two key points in the poster that would fit with the music video are Hallucinations and Anger. The idea would be for the MC to become angry as he keeps experiencing the same hallucinations over and over losing precious beauty sleep in the process.
